Sock In Progress

Here's a few inches of the sock cuff completed. I love the pools of color. The name of this yarn is Night Sky.

Despite my big tangle troubles winding the skein, this yarn is a joy to work with. I love the variegated view! 

Here is the finished ball. I did encounter a big tangle at the end few yards but stuck with it and got it all untangled and wound.

First Try at Ball Winding

This is the first time I wound a hank into a skein using a ball winder. Here is the yarn laid out on the table. I do not have a yarn swift, I hope to find a good buy on one someday.

I am still getting the hang of making socks on the knitting loom. It is getting faster and better and so much fun. This is a great portable summer project! 

3 Lovely sets of Moda Dea Yarn

I am crazy in love with my Decor Accents Fine Gauge Sock Loom. I am also crazy about Moda Dea Sassy Stripes sock yarn. It works up beautifully on the fine gauge loom. So fine that I've ordered the fine gauge Wonderloom to make all sizes of socks this summer.

Must get busy, my yarn stash is getting out of hand!
