One thing I find when you're hooked on a hobby....you become a junkie on the supplies you need. You can say I'm a sock yarn junkie; it's so addictive! I have a craft storage box with more colors for more projects this summer. And when I go to A C Moore...gosh it's a heady experience.
Not to mention what kind of trouble I can get into sufing the internet for more yarn!
I had a nice adventure after work...discovered my tire was going flat while I was visiting the gas station. A nice gentleman put some air in my tire and I headed to a local service station where this pocket knife was pulled from my tire and the hole plugged. The fella that fixed it said he'd never seen this before!
I am working on a new cotton sweater on my Bond Ultimate Sweater Machine. This yarn is a beautiful blue called "Swimming Pool." It is very comfortable in the summer and makes up very quickly. Just one of my many hobbies.
Matt our Dog will be a year old in July. He is a German Shepherd/Collie mix and goodness knows what else. The kids adore him. He is getting less wild and loves to ride in the car when I pick up the kids from school. He is named after the assistant principal at our high school.

I'm so glad this storm is over. There was a lot worse damage around us. The neighbor who owns this shed isn't worried; it was a $100 shed he got for free. This truly could have been a lot worse. At least we're okay and didn't lose our power, though it did flash off and on about 5 times.
This shed blew over from three houses away
This is only the second time I've seen hail at our location in 21 years. I estimate this to be marble sized.
Another view of the antenna.
On the afternoon of May 26, 2006 we experienced a bad storm with heavy winds and hail. This antenna pole snapped.
We've had this camera and multi function printer scanner copier for quite some time now, and I'm just starting out here!
This is much easier than I thought, and with summer vacation in three weeks, hopefully we can set up a fun family blog. Picasa and Windows are doing a great job for me!
I live in North Carolina with my husband and three children. I work part-time in the cafeteria of the local middle school which enables me to be near my children.
